The historical celebrations of the KAKATIYA FESTIVAL will commence on 9th, 10th and 11th January-2015 in Warangal (capital of kakatiya).
The main aim of these celebrations is to educate about the history of Kakatiya Empire to the world. They are certain programs like cultural activities, Dramas and food festival would be held at Fort Warangal.
‘Telangana Tourism department would make special arrangements to transport the tourists during the upcoming Kakatiya Festival. Efforts would be made to connect tourists to Ramappa temple, 1000-pillars temple, Fort Warangal, Lakhnavaram and other popular destinations’.
Warangal railway station is a major railway station in the main railway line connecting Chennai , Bangalore , Mumbai and New Delhi. Warangal is well connected with all the major cities of India. All trains passing through Warangal will have a stop here.
